About Us

Ramón Kadi®™ designs and produces fine leather accessories, combining the traditional European hand-sewn, reverse saddle-stitching technique with contemporary methods. The type of stitching is important as it provides a backup method if a stitch is accidentally ripped.

Kadi is a graduate of Amblard Leather Atelier, learning the craft under Mme. Béatrice Amblard (herself a veteran of Hermès Paris for 14 years as leather artisan and the second Hermès Ambassador to the US, in San Francisco.) Priorly Kadi obtains a Master of Fine Arts in Printmaking from the Academy of Art of San Francisco; and a Bachelor of Science degree in Art History (Early Christian, Byzantine, and Medieval Art & Architecture) and Art Studio from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee.

Kadi resides in Manhattan, New York, USA.

Custom Order:
Kadi operates an online-only shop from his studio in Tribeca, New York. Most of the products seen in this online shop are made-to-order, with only several items in stock. Depending on the product, production can take anywhere between 4-12 weeks. Most of the products can be customized in terms of leather type and color. Personalization such as monogramming can be ordered in custom made products.

Bespoke Order:
Clients are welcome to come and discuss what type of accessories they wish to have. Together we can discuss the design, the type of leather, and the color combination of the accessory. Depending on the availability of leather, the complexity of the design, as well as current ongoing projects, it will take anytime between 4-12 weeks.
